🇮🇱 Hebrew translation in Tbilisi
Notarized Hebrew Translation in Tbilisi - For the House of Justice, Misrad HaPnim and Everything Between
The Georgian notarized translation is what the House of Justice needs to marry an Israeli couple and what every Georgian office needs for Israeli documents; an Israeli notarial translation is what Misrad HaPnim needs for the Georgian certificate that follows. We produce the first in 1-2 hours and arrange the second.

Israeli notarial translation versus the Georgian notarized translation
Israel has no register of sworn translators. Under the Notaries Law, an Israeli נוטריון may issue an אישור נכונות תרגום (notarial certification of the accuracy of a translation) where the notary knows both languages, or an אישור הצהרת מתרגם (certification of a translator's declaration) where the notary certifies that a named translator declared the translation accurate; Israeli authorities - Misrad HaPnim, the Rabbinate, courts, the Ministry of Education, Bituach Leumi, universities - generally require one of these for foreign documents, and few Israeli notaries know Georgian, so the translator's declaration route is the practical one. Georgia has the notarized translation certified by a Georgian notary attesting a registered translator's signature. Neither is accepted in the other country directly: an Israeli notarial translation is a foreign notarial act in Georgia, and a Georgian notarized translation is a foreign document in Israel. The efficient route is to have each translation made where it will be used, from the apostilled original: Israeli documents translated and notarized in Tbilisi for Georgian offices, and Georgian documents translated into Hebrew here by our native translators and certified by an Israeli notary through our partner on the basis of the translator's declaration, which avoids the errors and cost of an Israeli notary working from a relay language.
Civil marriage in Georgia for Israeli couples
Israel recognizes marriages concluded abroad but does not perform civil marriages itself, so couples who cannot marry through the Rabbinate - mixed couples, couples where one partner's Jewish status is not recognized, couples who simply prefer a civil ceremony - marry in Georgia, which is close, visa-free, inexpensive and quick, and register the marriage at Misrad HaPnim on return. The House of Justice requires from each spouse the passport and a תמצית רישום ממשרד הפנים (population registry extract) showing marital status, apostilled by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translated into Georgian and notarized here, plus divorce documents (the תעודת גירושין or the court's or Rabbinate's judgment) for previously married applicants and, for couples marrying under the expedited procedure, a declaration; the extract should be recent. We translate and notarize the couple's documents the same day, usually the day before the ceremony, and can arrange the interpreter the House of Justice requires for the ceremony itself. After the wedding, the Georgian marriage certificate is apostilled through the Public Service Development Agency and translated into Hebrew, and we arrange the Israeli notarial certification so the couple registers the marriage at Misrad HaPnim without further steps. Same-sex couples marry on the same terms and Misrad HaPnim registers the marriage on the same basis.
Israeli documents for Georgian residence permits, property and business
Israeli citizens applying for Georgian residence permits - investment tied to Batumi or Tbilisi property, business, family, the labor permit for freelancers - need a notarized Georgian translation of the passport, the תעודת יושר (police certificate from the Israel Police, apostilled), the tamtzit rishum or תעודות for accompanying family (apostilled), a diploma for work-based permits, and bank statements or an employment contract. Israeli buyers of Georgian property, a large group, need the passport and, where a representative signs, an ייפוי כוח notarized in Israel and apostilled by the court, translated and notarized here; the sale agreement and Public Registry extract are translated into Hebrew for the buyer's Israeli lawyer and accountant. Israeli founders registering Georgian LLCs need the passport and, for corporate founders, the תדפיס רשם החברות, תקנון and board resolution, apostilled and translated. We prepare these sets with consistent transliteration and notarize everything in one session.
Georgian caregivers in Israel and the bilateral labor agreement
Georgia and Israel operate a bilateral agreement under which Georgian caregivers are recruited transparently for Israel's home care sector through the Georgian State Employment Agency and Israel's Population and Immigration Authority, and thousands of Georgians work in Israel under it, with others in construction and hospitality under separate arrangements. The recruitment file requires the Georgian passport, the Georgian conviction certificate from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (apostilled), a medical certificate, caregiving training certificates and sometimes a diploma, translated into Hebrew or English for the Israeli authority and the employer; once in Israel, caregivers need Georgian documents translated for Bituach Leumi, health funds, the Ministry of Labor and, for those who marry or have children in Israel, Misrad HaPnim. We translate these sets with the Israeli notarial certification arranged where required, and Georgian caregivers returning home need their Israeli employment records, Bituach Leumi documents and medical records translated into Georgian for Georgian pension and social purposes.
Law of Return, citizenship and the Georgian-Jewish archive
Georgians with Jewish ancestry - a parent, a grandparent, or through marriage - apply for Israeli citizenship under the Law of Return through the Israeli Embassy in Tbilisi and the Jewish Agency, and the file turns on proof of Jewish descent: Soviet-era birth certificates showing nationality as "Jewish" (ebraeli in the Georgian-language column, evrei in the Russian), the parents' and grandparents' certificates, marriage records, synagogue and community records from the Georgian-Jewish communities of Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Oni, Akhaltsikhe, Kulashi and Tskhinvali, archive extracts from the Georgian civil registry and the National Archives, gravestone inscriptions and family photographs with Hebrew or Georgian text. We translate these chains of documents into Hebrew with a single translator so names and relationships stay consistent, add a translator's note reconciling the Georgian, Russian and Hebrew forms of Georgian-Jewish surnames, notarize and apostille the translations and arrange Israeli notarial certification, and we assist clients in Israel in requesting duplicates and archive extracts from Georgian registries. Israeli citizens of Georgian origin reclaiming property or inheriting in Georgia use the same archive route in reverse.
Certified translation without a notary, and e-Notary
Not every recipient needs the notary. Universities for initial applications, employers, landlords, insurers and online platforms often accept a certified translation with our agency stamp and the translator's signed statement, which is quicker and cheaper. The House of Justice, Georgian courts, registries, the Public Service Hall and banks do not, and Israeli authorities want Israeli notarial certification. Tell us who will receive the document and we recommend the right level; a certified translation can be upgraded to a notarized one later without re-translating, and our e-Notary option produces a PDF with a qualified electronic signature that Georgian registries accept online, which suits Israeli clients who submit everything digitally.
