Georgian wine distributors, restaurant franchises, construction contractors and IT companies in Tashkent, Uzbek investors and workers in Georgia, and Uzbek families with Georgian ties all need Uzbek and Georgian versions of their documents to say the same thing before a registry, a customs office or a court. We keep them aligned and run the apostille each side requires.

Registering a Georgian company with Uzbek founders, and an Uzbek one with Georgian founders
An Uzbek MChJ or AJ founding a Georgian subsidiary, branch or representative office - for trade, logistics, tourism, student services or IT - submits a Georgian translation of its state registration certificate and extract from the register of business entities (with the STIR tax number), its charter (ustav), the decision of the founders approving the Georgian entity and a power of attorney if a local representative files; the extract and notarial documents are apostilled by the Ministry of Justice, and all are notarized in Tbilisi. Individual Uzbek founders submit a translated passport. We draft the Georgian charter bilingually with a parallel Uzbek or Russian column so the founder signs a text they can read, and we know the wording the National Agency of Public Registry expects. Georgian founders of an Uzbek MChJ go the other way: the Georgian Public Registry extract, charter and founder's decision are apostilled, translated into Uzbek, notarized and, where the Uzbek registration authority or notary asks, re-notarized in Tashkent; registration is done through the public service centers or online, and foreign investors' companies may qualify for specific regimes that Uzbek counsel advises on.
Contracts between Georgian and Uzbek parties
Georgian law permits contracts in any language, but the Georgian version is what a registry or court reads, and Uzbek law expects contracts with Uzbek state bodies and many private counterparties in Uzbek, so cross-border contracts are drafted bilingually or trilingually, with English or Russian as the working language and Uzbek and Georgian as the legal ones. We translate supply and distribution agreements for Georgian wine, mineral water and food in Uzbekistan and Uzbek textiles, fruit and consumer goods in Georgia, franchise agreements for Georgian restaurant and hospitality concepts in Tashkent, construction and engineering contracts, IT services and outsourcing agreements, agency and commission agreements, loan agreements and guarantees, confidentiality agreements and lease agreements. The translator is a legal specialist who keeps defined terms and numbering consistent and flags where an Uzbek concept - the roles of director and observation council under the law on limited liability companies, Uzbek currency and payment rules, the specifics of Uzbek land and property rights for foreigners - needs a lawyer's decision on the Georgian equivalent rather than a translator's guess.
Tenders and contracts with Uzbek state bodies
Georgian construction, road, water, engineering, IT and consulting companies pursue contracts with Uzbek ministries, state enterprises, regional khokimiyats and the projects financed by international institutions in Uzbekistan, where tender documentation is issued in Uzbek and Russian through the electronic procurement portals, bids must follow the announced form, and foreign documents - company extracts, financial statements, references, licenses, certificates and powers of attorney - must be apostilled with notarized translations. We translate tender announcements and specifications into Georgian for the bidding team, translate the bid, its annexes and the qualification documents into Uzbek or Russian within days of the deadline, staffed as a team for large volumes, and once a contract is awarded we translate the contract, its technical annexes, bank guarantees, acts of acceptance and correspondence with the Uzbek employer over the life of the project.
Labor recruitment agreements and employment contracts
Georgian employers recruiting Uzbek workers - construction companies, hotels, restaurants, farms - meet Uzbekistan's organized labor migration framework: the Agency for External Labor Migration, licensed private recruitment agencies, and the agreements between foreign employers and those agencies that specify conditions, accommodation, insurance and repatriation. We translate and draft these recruitment agreements, the bilingual employment contracts that Georgian labor law and the work permit file require and that Uzbek workers must understand, staff rules, safety instructions, warning and termination notices and the documentation of disputes, so that every step of the employment relationship is documented in Uzbek and Georgian. Uzbek staff of Georgian companies in Uzbekistan and Georgian specialists seconded there use the same team for the Uzbek-law employment contracts and work permit files.
Court judgments, arbitration, powers of attorney and family legal matters
Uzbek court judgments in family, commercial and succession matters are recognized in Georgia through proceedings requiring notarized Georgian translations of the judgment, proof of its entry into force and supporting documents, all apostilled; Georgian judgments go the other way for Uzbek courts, translated into Uzbek and apostilled, with a Georgian lawyer and Uzbek counsel assessing the route in the absence of a bilateral treaty. Arbitration under the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre, the ICC or the Georgian International Arbitration Centre produces submissions and awards which we translate under procedural deadlines. Powers of attorney are the most frequent Uzbek legal document in Georgia - parents authorizing a relative to act for a student, students authorizing someone at home, Uzbek owners of Georgian property, Uzbek companies authorizing Georgian representatives - issued by Uzbek notaries and apostilled, and we translate and notarize them; Georgian powers of attorney for Uzbekistan are drafted at our notary with an interpreter, translated into Uzbek and apostilled. Inheritance and the divorce and property files of Uzbek-Georgian couples are handled by the same team. Litigation files are handled under NDA with restricted access.
Export documents, financial statements, confidentiality and how projects run
Georgian exporters of wine, mineral water, food, pharmaceuticals and construction materials to Uzbekistan need commercial invoices, certificates of origin, conformity and quality, phytosanitary and veterinary certificates, labels in Uzbek and Russian as Uzbek rules require, and registration documents in Uzbek, and Uzbek exporters need the reverse; we translate them with staff who know both customs systems. Georgian companies bidding in Uzbekistan and Uzbek companies operating in Georgia present financial statements, audit reports, tax residency certificates for treaty relief under the Georgia-Uzbekistan double taxation agreement and bank references to the other side's ministries, banks and tax authorities, which we translate with accountants on the team reconciling every figure.
Every translator, editor and courier is bound by a non-disclosure agreement, files are encrypted and access is limited to the assigned team; we sign client-specific NDAs and data processing terms aligned with Uzbekistan's personal data law. Corporate clients receive a glossary and translation memory from the first project. Projects run in a fixed pattern: fixed quote within the hour, a legal or financial specialist plus a reviewer, questions returned in a single batch, delivery in the original format, and notarization and apostille scheduled in parallel with translation. Framework agreements with monthly invoicing and priority notary slots are available for contractors and distributors working in Uzbekistan, employers of Uzbek workers, universities and student agencies, and law firms serving Uzbek clients.
