Macedonian Legal and Business Translation for Companies, Investors and Clubs Between Georgia and North Macedonia
Macedonian wine and food companies trading with Georgia, Georgian exporters selling into North Macedonia, clubs signing each other's players, and companies registering subsidiaries across the two countries all need Macedonian and Georgian versions of their documents to say the same thing before a registry or a court. We keep them aligned, from the тековна состојба to the arbitration award.

Registering a Georgian company with Macedonian founders, and a Macedonian one with Georgian founders
A Macedonian ДОО or АД founding a Georgian subsidiary, branch or representative office submits a Georgian translation of its тековна состојба (current status extract) from the Central Registry, its основачки акт or статут, the одлука of the founders or assembly approving the Georgian entity and a полномошно if a local representative files; the extract and notarial documents are apostilled by the competent basic court or the Ministry of Justice, and all are notarized in Tbilisi. Individual Macedonian founders submit a translated passport. We draft the Georgian charter bilingually with a parallel Macedonian column so the founder signs a text they can read, and we know the wording the National Agency of Public Registry expects for основна главнина, управител and седиште. Georgian founders of a Macedonian ДОО go the other way: the Georgian Public Registry extract, charter and founder's decision are apostilled, translated into Macedonian and re-certified by a court translator for the Central Registry and the notary who draws up the основачки акт, and the registration is done through the Central Registry's one-stop system, usually within days.
Договори between Macedonian and Georgian parties
Georgian law permits contracts in any language, but the Georgian version is what a registry or court reads, so cross-border contracts are drafted bilingually, usually with English as the working language and Macedonian and Georgian as the legal ones. We translate договори за купопродажба for goods, equipment and property, договори за закуп, договори за вработување for staff on either side, договори за испорака and дистрибуција for Macedonian wine, food, pharmaceuticals and construction materials in Georgia and Georgian wine and water in North Macedonia, договори за градење for contractors on either side, договори за дело and за услуги, договори за заем and гаранции, договори за доверливост and договори за франшиза. The translator is a legal specialist who keeps defined terms and numbering consistent and flags where a Macedonian concept - the капар, the договорна казна, the roles of управител and надзорен одбор under the Law on Trade Companies - needs a lawyer's decision on the Georgian equivalent rather than a translator's guess.
Wine and food trade documentation
Wine and food are the core of Macedonian-Georgian trade, and their documentation is specific: supply and distribution agreements with importers and retail chains, product specifications and technical sheets, labels and back-label texts meeting each country's rules, certificates of origin (including EUR.1 and CEFTA documents on the Macedonian side), certificates of analysis, phytosanitary and veterinary certificates, organic and quality certifications, customs declarations and correspondence, and the documentation of wine fairs and tenders. We translate these with staff who know both countries' customs systems and the wine trade's vocabulary, and we localize the marketing side - tasting notes, producer stories, tender responses - with native editors who know how each market talks about wine.
Football and sports contracts
Player and coach transfers between Macedonian and Georgian clubs produce a specific document set: the professional player's contract or coaching contract, the transfer agreement between clubs, agent agreements, the international transfer certificate through the federations' systems, the player's birth certificate, passport and medical records, and, for foreign players in either country, the work permit and residence file. We translate these with the terminology of the FIFA regulations and of the two federations' rules, on the compressed timelines of transfer windows, and we provide interpreters for negotiations and signings. Disputes go to the federations' arbitration bodies, the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber or the CAS, and we translate submissions and awards for those proceedings; handball and basketball transfers follow the same pattern.
Court judgments, arbitration and enforcement
Macedonian judgments in family, commercial and succession matters - пресуди and решенија of the basic and appellate courts and the Supreme Court - are recognized and enforced in Georgia through proceedings requiring notarized Georgian translations of the decision, the потврда за правосилност and supporting documents, all apostilled. Georgian judgments and notarized loan deeds go the other way for признавање на странска судска одлука before a Macedonian court, translated by a court translator and apostilled. Arbitration under the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, the Vienna International Arbitral Centre, the ICC or the Georgian International Arbitration Centre produces bilingual submissions, witness statements, expert reports and awards which we translate under procedural deadlines. Succession files - Macedonian решенија за наследување and тестаменти concerning Georgian property, and Georgian inheritance certificates for Macedonian оставински постапки - are handled by the same team. Litigation files are handled under NDA with restricted access.
Tenders, financial statements, confidentiality and how projects run
Macedonian companies bid on Georgian state tenders in construction, pharmaceuticals and food supply, and Georgian companies on Macedonian public procurement through the electronic procurement system; both require translated qualification documents, financial statements, references and bid texts within days of the notice, and we staff these as a team. Georgian subsidiaries of Macedonian companies and Macedonian subsidiaries of Georgian ones report to head office and to banks and tax authorities on both sides; we translate финансиски извештаи, биланс на состојба and биланс на успех, ревизорски извештаи, потврди за резидентност for treaty relief where applicable, ДДВ documents, transfer pricing documentation and bank confirmation letters, with accountants on the team reconciling every figure.
Every translator, editor and courier is bound by a non-disclosure agreement, files are encrypted and access is limited to the assigned team; we sign client-specific NDAs and data processing terms aligned with North Macedonia's personal data law and GDPR-style requirements for EU-funded projects. Corporate clients receive a glossary and translation memory from the first project. Projects run in a fixed pattern: fixed quote within the hour, a legal or financial specialist plus a reviewer, questions returned in a single batch, delivery in the original format, and notarization and apostille scheduled in parallel with translation. Framework agreements with monthly invoicing and priority notary slots are available for companies, clubs and law firms working between the two countries.
